Pueblito Beach Puerto Plata is like the hidden gem of the North, still unexplored by many who only recognize its cute name (small town) but have yet to venture into its beautiful scenery and distinctive amenities. It also has several restaurants, a block of very nice gift shops, and plenty of lounging areas on the golden sand beach. Places like Le Petit Francois offer an excellent menu of seafood and other international dishes, including event planning. The restaurant staff is very friendly, and there is an informal vendor selling the usual things people buy on the beach. Pueblito is part of a long stretch of beach that stretches from the Long Beach Malecón, Costa Dorada, Playa Dorada, Bergantín, and Playa Cangrejo. Includes: Round-trip transportation.
